Super Duplex 2507 Stud Bolts
ASME B18.31.2 · DIN 976-1ASTM A276 / A479 — bar
Super Duplex 2507 stud bolts serve loaded seawater flanges, pump casings and desalination connections. Full-thread or double-end forms let the same corrosion-resistant alloy be used in through-flanges and tapped housings, with end lengths tailored to the assembly.

What we can make in Super Duplex 2507
Forms & dimension guideFully threaded
Two nuts clamp the flange or cover; usable thread length spans the assembled grip.
Double-end
A plain centre spans the grip, with a threaded portion at each end for the nuts.
Tap-end
One end engages a tapped casing; the exposed end accepts the cover nut.

Where Super Duplex 2507 fits — and what matters

Seawater pumps
Super Duplex 2507 Stud BoltsDouble-end studs in a tapped casing help align a heavy seawater-pump cover during reassembly. In 2507, the connection gains high strength and resistance to chloride attack around the stud holes. The body-side end must have enough engagement to carry the load, while the free end leaves room for the cover, washer and nut.
Connection requirements
- Body-end engagement
- Cover stack and nut projection
- Seawater condition and finished-stud properties

SWRO high-pressure membrane vessels
Super Duplex 2507 Stud BoltsOn SWRO assemblies with bolted end hardware or external supports, 2507 studs carry the connection load in saline service. Super duplex strength is useful within the available bolt pattern, while chloride resistance addresses brine around the exposed threads. The end-plate and support layouts determine the stud lengths and nut stack.
Connection requirements
- Vessel end-retention drawing
- Design load and end-plate thickness
- Stud length and nut arrangement

Energy recovery devices (ERDs)
Super Duplex 2507 Stud Bolts2507 studs can serve bolted covers and flanges on energy-recovery equipment specified for super duplex fastening. Their strength and chloride resistance are useful where compact pressure housings leave a limited fastening envelope. A tapped-stud arrangement can retain the studs during servicing; through-flange connections use their own nut and engagement layout.
Connection requirements
- Housing pressure and cover load
- Seawater or brine temperature
- Nut access and stud engagement
Same stud. Different material priorities.
Super Duplex 2507 material dataDuplex 2205 Stud Bolts
Duplex 2205 studs carry loaded process-water and brackish-water closures where strength and chloride resistance matter together. Double-end forms stay in tapped casings during cover removal, reducing repeated assembly of the housing thread. Independently dimensioned ends leave the nut accessible above the cover and washer stack.
Super Duplex S32760 Stud Bolts
S32760 studs suit loaded marine and saline-process closures requiring this copper- and tungsten-bearing super duplex grade. Chloride resistance is useful around exposed threads, while removable nuts allow cover access. Defined housing-end engagement and nut-end projection make double-end forms useful for pump servicing.
Inconel 625 Stud Bolts
Offshore flanges and marine valve bonnets put the stud threads, nut seats and exposed shank in different pockets of chloride exposure. Inconel 625 studs bring pitting and crevice-corrosion resistance to that loaded connection. On tapped-stud bonnets, crews can remove the nuts and cover while leaving the studs installed in the valve body.

Is S32760 the same as the S32750 offered here?
They are different super-duplex grades. This page covers 2507 / UNS S32750; chemistry, heat-treatment and any phase-balance or corrosion tests follow that ordered designation.
