Inconel 625 Kit Components

Inconel 625 Stud Bolts
Continuous threads accommodate the flange stack and a nut at each end.

Inconel 625 Hex Nuts
Choose the nut pattern for the joint’s bearing area and wrench clearance.
Inconel 625 Heavy Hex Nuts
Inconel 625 Flat Washers
A washer under each nut adds two washer thicknesses to the assembly stack.

Inconel 625 Stud & Nut Sets
One BOM line keeps the stud length, nut pattern and component quantities together.
Size The Complete Flange Connection
Flange Stack & Stud Length
The stud spans both flanges, the compressed gasket and both nuts. Include washer thickness when washers are fitted; the thread projection beyond each nut completes the length. A change in nut height or gasket thickness changes that stack.
Nut Pattern & Tool Access
Regular hex and heavy hex nuts use different wrench sizes and bearing footprints. On a crowded flange, check the space around the nut for the socket; hydraulic tensioning also needs stud projection for the tensioner puller.
Thread & Bearing Match
Pair the stud and nuts by nominal diameter, pitch and mating thread class. For a washer-equipped set, the washer bore clears the stud while its outside diameter supports the nut on the flange face.

Heat Treatment
Annealed or solution annealedFor B446 stock, Grade 1 is annealed and Grade 2 is solution annealed; the higher-temperature solution treatment supports creep resistance rather than age hardening.
From Drawing To Documented Delivery

A BOM That Counts Components
100 sets with two nuts per stud contain 100 studs and 200 nuts. If each set also uses two flat washers, the washer quantity is 200. Keeping those counts on the same BOM avoids a shortfall at assembly.
Grade, Heat Treatment & Finish
The stud and nut entries each carry a grade, heat-treatment condition and finish. This keeps an age-hardened stud from being confused with annealed stock and identifies the coating or lubricant used for the tightening procedure.
Inspection Records Linked To The Parts
Heat numbers link the material certificates to the stud and nut batches. Dimensional and thread checks identify the finished parts; mechanical test records identify the material condition and tested batch.

Flange Kit Questions
Do flange stud kits include washers?
A stud-and-nut set contains one stud and two nuts. Flat washers can be added as a separate component of the kit. Their bore, outside diameter and thickness are included in the parts list, and their thickness is included in the stud-length calculation.
How do I order several flange sizes together?
Use one BOM line per flange tag or connection size. Each line identifies the stud diameter, pitch and length, nut pattern, component materials and number of sets. For example, eight studs per flange across ten identical flanges means 80 studs and 160 nuts.
