316L Stud Bolts
ASME B18.31.2 · DIN 976-1ASTM A276 / A479 — bar
316L stud bolts for treated-water equipment covers and filter flanges where repeatable nut access and routine wet-service corrosion resistance matter more than extreme alloy strength.

What we can make in 316L
Forms & dimension guideFully threaded
Two nuts clamp the flange or cover; usable thread length spans the assembled grip.
Double-end
A plain centre spans the grip, with a threaded portion at each end for the nuts.
Tap-end
One end engages a tapped casing; the exposed end accepts the cover nut.

- Manufacturing
- Cut bar, CNC-finish ends and any grip features; roll or cut the specified threads. Studs do not require a headed-bolt upsetting operation.
- Final condition
- Solution annealing establishes the specified stainless condition; age hardening is not the strengthening route.
- Inspection
- Chemistry including carbon · dimensional inspection · specified mechanical properties
Where 316L fits — and what matters

Water Treatment & Desalination
Filter housings and treatment-pump covers316L stud bolts & threaded rods clamp filter housings and treatment-pump covers with nuts on the exposed ends, keeping the stud in place when a cover is removed. The water stream, cleaning cycle and retained liquid define exposure at the installed part.

Food & Beverage Equipment
Washdown pump housings and removable covers316L stud bolts & threaded rods clamp washdown pump housings and removable covers with nuts on the exposed ends, keeping the stud in place when a cover is removed. Cleaning liquid can remain under the part; exposed finish and access for cleaning matter at the assembled joint.

Pumps, Valves & OEM
Pump casings and valve bonnets316L stud bolts & threaded rods clamp pump casings and valve bonnets with nuts on the exposed ends, keeping the stud in place when a cover is removed. Repeated maintenance makes fit, engagement and access part of the component specification.

316L material dataDuplex 2205
Duplex stainless combines higher yield strength than conventional austenitic grades with improved resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking.
Duplex 2205 Stud Bolts904L
High nickel and molybdenum, with copper, extend corrosion resistance beyond 316L in selected acid and chloride duties.
904L Stud BoltsInconel 625
Molybdenum and niobium provide solid-solution strength, combined with resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion.

Where does 316L stop being the preferred water-service stud?
Hotter, saltier streams and stagnant crevices increase the case for duplex or nickel-alloy bolting. Separate treated-water connections from raw seawater and concentrated-brine duties before choosing the grade.
