Start with a drawing, BOM or short description. BYBOLT reviews the material, geometry and order requirements before confirming the quotation.
A hex bolt has an external hexagonal head and a straight shank. Identify the head pattern from the drawing or dimensional reference; a photograph does not establish dimensions or tolerances.
State thread diameter and pitch or TPI. Length L is measured from the bearing face under the head to the bolt tip unless the governing drawing defines another basis. Include head dimensions and critical tolerances when specified.
Specify full thread or, for a partially threaded bolt, the threaded length b and any controlled plain-shank dimensions. Include the thread series, class and mating-part requirements.
List the dimensional reference, material specification, finished-bolt requirements and inspection criteria separately, with controlled editions. A raw-material certificate does not establish complete finished-bolt compliance.

No drawing is needed to begin a hex-bolt enquiry. Send the alloy, diameter, under-head length, thread and quantity you know, or the latest drawing revision. With support from our factory, BYBOLT reviews open dimensions, material condition and inspection requirements. Production is arranged against the agreed requirements; proposed material or specification changes need your approval.
Every BYBOLT delivery includes an MTC / EN 10204 3.1 certificate, heat-number traceability and mechanical testing. Threaded products include sampled GO / NO-GO gauging. Test methods, test objects and acceptance criteria follow the agreed specification. PMI, third-party inspection and additional records are agreed separately. A redacted historical certificate can be reviewed during quotation; shipment documents must relate to the material and batch actually supplied.
