Choose the Evidence Your Order Needs
Requirements mandated by the agreed product specification remain part of compliance. Additional testing, reporting formats and third-party involvement are reviewed and quoted as applicable.
- PMI: method appropriate to the alloy and the elements to be checked.
- Dimensional inspection: agreed drawing, tolerances and critical features.
- Thread inspection: specified form, size and fit.
- Mechanical testing: method, temperature, test pieces and acceptance criteria.
- Heat treatment records: agreed records for the specified condition.
- Third-party inspection: scope, inspection body and witness or hold points.
Sampling Plans and 100% Inspection
100% inspection means checking every item for agreed characteristics where the method is applicable. It does not mean every possible test on every part. Destructive tests use an agreed sampling or representative test-piece plan.
Traceability and Document Review
Where required by the order, identification connects the supplied parts or material to the relevant heat, lot and inspection records. Original documents retain their issuing identity.
