How do I distinguish B-3 from B-2 in a bolt order?
State UNS N10675 for B-3, the B335 edition and final condition. B-2 uses N10665. Keep the exact grade on the certificate and order even when both are being considered for the same reducing-acid process.
Which finished-bolt requirements should accompany B335 for B-3?
Add the required tensile, yield or hardness acceptance, sampling and final inspection. If process corrosion testing is needed, name the method and conditions. The historical F468 N10001 entry does not establish a finished-fastener route for B-3.
