Technical help
Can 800H or 800HT replace Incoloy 800 on the order?
Keep N08800 for Incoloy 800 unless a substitution is approved. 800H and 800HT have distinct identities and high-temperature material controls. Compare the required condition and service duty before changing the specified grade.
What does B408 cover for Incoloy 800 bolts?
B408 provides the rod/bar material route. Define the finished bolt through its drawing, thread and mechanical acceptance. State the joint temperature and load where relevant; the alloy’s scaling resistance does not establish an allowable bolt load.
