Is an 800H certificate enough for an 800HT bolt?
An 800HT order calls for N08811 and evidence for its specified chemistry and condition, including the narrower carbon, aluminium and titanium controls. Identify the grain size and treatment as well; verify the actual certificate against that order.
What information helps compare 800HT bolt quotations?
Use the same drawing, stock specification, final treatment and mechanical acceptance for each quote. For sustained hot loading, include any required rupture-test conditions and records so the quoted inspection scope is comparable.
