Common questions
What should we send for a quotation?
Send your drawing, BOM or a short description. Identify the product, material or UNS, dimensions or thread, quantity and any applicable standards. Add inspection, document and delivery requirements when they are already defined.
Can you review a drawing-based fastener?
Yes. Send the latest drawing revision with the alloy, quantity and applicable requirements. We review the requested geometry, material condition, manufacturing route and inspection scope before confirming what can be quoted.
What if our drawing is incomplete?
Share the information you have, such as the part type, dimensions, alloy, quantity, photographs or an existing specification. We will identify the points that still need agreement. Photographs and illustrative models do not establish dimensions, tolerances, material or performance requirements.
How should standards be specified?
List the dimensional standard, material specification, finished-product requirements and inspection or documentation requirements separately. Include the applicable revision when it is controlled by your project.
What inspection and documents can be requested?
Material documentation, EN 10204 3.1, dimensional or thread inspection, product test reports, PMI, heat-treatment records and third-party inspection can be requested. The applicable method, issuing party, sampling, acceptance criteria, cost and availability are agreed at quotation.
Do you manufacture in your own factory?
BYBOLT works with material and manufacturing partners and coordinates the agreed supply, inspection and documentation scope. If your purchasing process requires a facility assessment, include that requirement for review.
