Incoloy 925 Long-shank flange bolts
ISO 4162
The long grip and integral bearing flange give Incoloy 925 bolts two distinct interfaces to control. Age-hardened strength combined with process-corrosion resistance must be paired with the required shank length, flange footprint and final condition.

Heat Treatment
Solution treated and agedSolution treatment prepares the alloy for controlled precipitation aging, which develops the strength of the ordered condition.
What we can make in Alloy 925
Flanged head
Use on deep mounting brackets and thick equipment stacks where a wide head seat distributes the clamp load. Check the flange diameter against casting recesses and nearby ribs before specifying a larger head.
Extended grip
The extended plain grip can span spacers and thick components while the thread engages beyond them. Match grip length to the assembled stack so the nut can reach its seat without stopping at the thread runout.

Manufacturing route
CNC machining suits samples and small batches. Volume heads are formed in a workable condition with the final aging route included in process planning.
Heat treatment & final condition
Solution treatment and the specified aging condition are recorded against the production lot; final dimensions are checked after thermal processing.
Finished geometry
Head geometry, bearing face, shank and thread fit are checked after the final machining and thermal operations.
Where 925 fits — and what matters

Offshore & Marine
Deck-equipment brackets and marine pump skidsIncoloy 925 long-shank flange bolts span thick spacers or mounting sections in deck-equipment brackets and marine pump skids, combining an extended grip with a flange bearing face. The assembled contact is exposed to saltwater, deposits and neighbouring metals.

Water Treatment & Desalination
Membrane-skid and pump supportsIncoloy 925 long-shank flange bolts span thick spacers or mounting sections in membrane-skid and pump supports, combining an extended grip with a flange bearing face. The water stream, cleaning cycle and retained liquid define exposure at the installed part.

Oil & Gas
Utility skids and instrument supportsIncoloy 925 long-shank flange bolts span thick spacers or mounting sections in utility skids and instrument supports, combining an extended grip with a flange bearing face. Utility connections and pressure-boundary parts have separate acceptance requirements on the equipment drawing.
Same long-shank flange bolt. Different material priorities.
Incoloy 925 material dataInconel 625
Solid-solution strength and resistance to aggressive process liquids.
- Connection priority
- Grip tension and distributed bearing at the flange
- Annealed or solution-annealed 625
- The delivery condition affects strength and high-temperature response. Keep the specified condition with the component’s mechanical acceptance; 718-style aging is not the strengthening route for 625. Include liquid retained at the extended grip and the covered surface under the flange in the exposure description.
Super Duplex 2507
Super-duplex strength and resistance to chloride pitting.
- Connection priority
- Grip tension and distributed bearing at the flange
- Final duplex structure
- S32750 chemistry and final solution treatment belong together. Forming, section size and cooling affect the structure represented by the mechanical and corrosion records. Include liquid retained at the extended grip and the covered surface under the flange in the exposure description.
Monel K-500
Age-hardened strength in the nickel–copper alloy family.
- Connection priority
- Grip tension and distributed bearing at the flange
- Strength and hydrogen exposure
- K-500 gains strength through aging. Cathodic protection, hydrogen exposure and the ordered condition need joint consideration in highly loaded marine components. Include liquid retained at the extended grip and the covered surface under the flange in the exposure description.

Questions about 925 long-shank flange bolts
Which dimensions keep the flange and long grip working together?
The flange seat fixes one end of the stack; plain grip and runout fix where the threaded section begins. Specify both against the actual stack thickness so the nut tightens on the parts rather than reaching the end of usable thread.
