Special alloy fasteners for Renewable Energy Equipment.
Corrosion-resistant geothermal bolting and heat-resistant solar hardware, matched to the equipment rather than the energy label.
Which fasteners fit your renewable-energy equipment applications?
BYBOLT supplies Inconel 625 stud & nut sets to resist corrosion at geothermal brine flanges and Super Duplex 2507 stud bolts for seawater auxiliaries. Incoloy 800H stud bolts resist creep in hot solar-thermal pipework; Inconel 601 hex bolts resist oxidation at receiver attachments. Combine the parts for each plant area in one enquiry.
Fasteners for geothermal, solar & coastal equipment.

Offshore wind transition pieces & monopiles
Super Duplex 2507 bolts offer strength and chloride resistance for compatible offshore wind attachments. Main monopile and transition-piece flanges retain the OEM structural-bolting specification, including fatigue, preload and coating requirements.
2507 heavy hex structural boltsConnection requirements
- Monopile flange flatness
- Bolt-hole alignment
- Bolt tensioning sequence

Wind turbine nacelle & pitch bearings
A-286 stud sets are an option for nacelle connections designed for its strength and temperature capability. Pitch-bearing and other fatigue-critical ring joints follow the OEM grade, dimensions and preload requirements.
A-286 flange stud setsRelated material guides
Connection requirements
- Pitch-bearing bolt-hole pattern
- Preload retention under vibration
- Nacelle lubricant compatibility

Geothermal brine wellheads & heat exchangers
Repeated heating, cooling and pressure cycling move wellhead and exchanger joints apart and back together. Inconel 625 flange studs accommodate that movement while resisting hot, sulfide-bearing brine and mineral scaling at sealing faces.
625 flange stud setsRelated material guides
Connection requirements
- Wellhead flange facing type
- Hot-brine gasket compatibility
- Stud tensioning sequence

Hydrogen electrolyzer cell stacks & manifolds
A-286 tie rods offer strength for suitable external electrolyzer stack clamping. Hydrogen-wetted manifold bolts need separate compatibility checks for gas pressure, temperature, stress and any contaminants; changing to 625 alone does not establish hydrogen resistance.
A-286 electrolyzer tie rodsConnection requirements
- Cell-stack compression uniformity
- Manifold gasket compatibility with hydrogen
- Tie-rod preload verification method

Solar thermal (CSP) molten-salt piping
On external support rods and compact hot-piping connections, 800H nuts can carry sustained load near molten-salt equipment without being salt-wetted parts. Their material choice addresses prolonged temperature and stress. Regular hex dimensions leave room for tooling around crowded brackets and insulation hardware.
Incoloy 800H Hex NutsRelated material guides
Connection requirements
- Mating stud diameter, thread form, and thread class
- Nut height, width across flats, and bearing-face condition required
- Sustained high-temperature duty, grade certification, and heat-number certification

Hydroelectric runner & wicket-gate mounts
Super Duplex 2507 heavy hex anchor bolts fasten hydroelectric runners and wicket-gate mounts against water pressure and flow vibration. Their high strength and chloride resistance hold alignment where submerged, silt-laden water would corrode ordinary bolting.
2507 heavy hex anchor boltsRelated material guides
Connection requirements
- Runner mounting-face flatness
- Anchor-bolt embedment length
- Dowel alignment for wicket-gate mounts
Corrosive media, hydrogen, and cyclic loading.
625 and C-276 offer corrosion-resistant options for geothermal brine flanges, while 2507 combines strength with chloride resistance where the fluid permits. For H2S-bearing circuits, include the final material condition, temperature and sour-service envelope; scale can create local crevices on any of these grades.
What to specify
- Hydrogen sulfide concentration in brine
- Chloride concentration in brine
- Scaling rate at sealing faces

316L and A-286 offer different strength levels for hydrogen equipment. Select the bolt condition against hydrogen pressure, temperature and cyclic stress, and distinguish external stack tie rods from wetted manifolds; dry gas alone does not establish resistance to hydrogen damage.
What to specify
- Hydrogen moisture content
- Applied tensile stress level
- Steel hardness level

800H provides creep strength for hot solar equipment, while 625 offers corrosion resistance for suitable process connections. Offshore wind structural joints need their specified strength class, coating and fatigue design; 2507 is an option for suitable seawater auxiliaries, not a direct substitute for structural bolting.
What to specify
- Peak metal temperature
- Cyclic load amplitude
- Seawater chloride exposure
